A reading group hosted by Angel discussing Imani Thompson's dark academia debut novel Honey at The Library at The Raven in Bath.
The Unapologetically Black and Bold reading group meets to discuss Honey, a dark academia debut novel by Imani Thompson. The book follows Yrsa, a young black undergraduate supervisor whose impulsive act leaves a man dead, exploring intersectionality between race and gender in a bold, satirical voice. Hosted by Angel, the session is pitched at fans of luster, boy parts and my sister, the serial killer. Doors open at 6.50pm for a 7pm start.
