About
The society runs its miniature railway for public train rides, with extended opening coinciding with the Viables Christmas Fayre.
Visitors can ride passenger trains hauled by the society's miniature locomotives, either live steam engines burning coal and water or electric and petrol-powered diesel-outline models. Each ride covers two laps of the track circuit, including a non-stop run through the station, totalling just under 2000ft. This December date has extended opening hours to 5pm, pending confirmation, because of the Viables Christmas Fayre, and rides are subject to availability and weather.
