The Language of Light

Paintings by David Cottingham explore light through reflections, landscapes and moving figures, combining abstraction and figuration with layered colour and gesture.

The paintings use light to explore memory, mood and sensation, with familiar forms emerging and dissolving between observation and imagination. A private view with David Cottingham begins at 18:00 on 12 November; its end time and access conditions are unpublished.
