About
DanFong Wang combines animation, embroidery and soft sculpture in her first UK solo exhibition.
The Lake Gallery presentation pairs Wang’s 2024 animation with new textile and sculptural work. References to Catholic and Buddhist funerary practices frame an exploration of female labour, motherhood, sacrifice and spiritual transformation.
