Jazz Night with 4 In 1

The jazz quartet 4 In 1, led by pianist Jamil Sheriff, play a free evening of music from the African American tradition at the Puzzle Hall Inn.

The quartet 4 In 1 — Jamil Sheriff on piano, Will Howard on saxophone, Sam Quintana on double bass and Steve Hanley on drums — perform music from the African American tradition, paying tribute to artists such as Thelonious Monk, Benny Golson, Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Led by Sheriff, the group blends classic, contemporary and urban approaches with a few twists of their own. Admission is free, with a collection taken for the band.
