Alicia’s Amazing Adventure to Find the First Black Britons

A family theatre show in which Alicia time-travels to discover the stories of Britain's first Black Britons, exploring identity and belonging.

This family show follows Alicia as she journeys through time to answer a child's big question about why people have different coloured skin, meeting historic heroes and uncovering stories from Britain's past. Blending bold visuals and playful storytelling with audience participation, it opens up conversations about race, history and identity. It is recommended for children aged 7 and over with their grown-ups, and some scenes depicting the slave trade may upset younger viewers.
