Calendar Girls: The Musical (Thursday)

Stagedoor Academy stages an amateur production of Calendar Girls The Musical at Howden School on 26 November 2026.

Stagedoor Academy presents Calendar Girls The Musical, written by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, based on Tim Firth's play Calendar Girls and on the motion picture Calendar Girls written by Tim Firth and Juliette Towhidi. The story follows a group of ordinary women whose fundraising idea for a good cause becomes a local sensation as friendship, bravery and a now-famous calendar take centre stage. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7 PM. The production is recommended for ages 11+ and contains strong language, adult humour, implied nudity and themes of illness, grief and bereavement.
