L.A.D.S | Ladies Open Decks and Social

A friendly open-decks social for women, non-binary and gender-fluid DJs and aspiring DJs to meet, mix and share music.

L.A.D.S (Ladies & Decks) is an informal open-decks session for women, non-binary and gender-fluid people who DJ or want to learn. Attendees can chat, mix and share notes, addressing the under-representation of women on the decks in Newcastle and beyond. People can bring vinyl or a USB stick to use on the available decks, or simply come along with ideas and enthusiasm; many attend alone for part or all of the session. A bar, snacks and hot drinks are available, with equipment lent by Amplify Hire.
