International Motor Development Research Consortium (IMDRC)

A three-day meeting of the I-MDRC UK & Ireland motor development group with keynotes, researcher presentations, stakeholder co-design sessions and lab tours.

This meeting of the I-MDRC UK & Ireland motor development group continues previous gatherings, aiming to develop collaborative work in motor development, build new links and support joint funding bids, with presentations from researchers at all career stages. Day one features an afternoon session co-designing research projects or funding proposals with external collaborators from policy and practice, plus an optional rounders game. Day two offers a keynote, researcher presentations, a lab tour and collaboration pitches, while day three includes keynotes, oral and infographic presentations and a dedicated session for postgraduate students and early career researchers. Optional social activities in Newcastle are planned around the evening meals.
