A free hands-on composition workshop for A-level students led by composer Stef Conner as part of the NCEM Young Composers Award.

The National Centre for Early Music hosts a free creative composition workshop for A-level students, forming part of its annual Young Composers Award. Led by composer Stef Conner with Young Composer Award alumnus Jacob Jordan and a special guest leader, the hands-on session explores melodies, harmonies and creative ideas. Participants also hear about pathways into the music industry and can sign up for the 2027 Young Composers Award, with the potential for their composition to be featured on BBC Radio 3.
