Paraorchestra presents Henryk Górecki's Symphony of Sorrowful Songs in its signature immersive format, with musicians and soprano Victoria Oruwari arrayed across the floor of Beacon Hall while audiences move or sit amongst them. The programme also includes Ives's The Unanswered Question. The symphony's three movements each feature a Polish lament, sung in Polish with printed English translations available, exploring themes of motherhood, loss, grief and solace. The concert is part of the 2026/27 Orchestral Season, with doors at 19:30 and a standing and reserved seating format.
