Puppet

Leeds Children’s Theatre adapts David Almond’s novel about a lonely puppet maker whose final creation begins to move and speak.

Written by David Almond and his daughter Freya, the play follows Silvester, an ageing puppet maker who shapes one last figure from scraps and memories. Its imaginative story explores making, loneliness and the boundary between object and life. Ages 6+; running time: 90 minutes plus an interval. The performance is in the Main Auditorium.
