Sherlock's Last Tape
About
A mysterious police-academy lecture turns into an immersive thriller about vanished boys, lost recordings and the dangers of listening.
Set in early-2000s London, Rosanna Mallinson’s new immersive production follows a mysterious lecturer presenting three cases about cybercrime and internet hoaxes. A recording device found at Arthur Conan Doyle’s former home connects the cases to two missing boys; after its contents appear online, terrible consequences seem to follow its listeners. The show reimagines Sherlock Holmes stories including ‘The Sussex Vampire’ through immersive sound. The venue advises that the running time is to be confirmed; the production includes strobe lighting, loud noises and blackout, and references to death, mental illness, murder, harm to an infant and sexism. Recommended for ages 14+.
