About
An exhibition at Radical Weavers telling the story of Baird and Hardie, two young men executed in Stirling in 1820 after a people's uprising.
This exhibition explores the 1820 rising in Stirling and the story of Baird and Hardie, two young men executed by the ruling classes to end a people's uprising. It examines how ordinary Scots responded to desperation and starvation, and how their sacrifice contributed to the path towards democracy. The exhibition runs on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 23 October to 20 December 2026, open 10am to 5pm each day.
