Musica Medievalis

Marco Cannavo, Steve Tyler, and Katy Marchant present an instrumental journey through the music of medieval Europe.

The concert features historical instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, harp, and lute, exploring rhythms and melodies from the 12th to 15th centuries. The music covers both sacred traditions, often heard in churches, and livelier secular tunes played at communal festivities. Attendees can also join a pre-concert workshop at 11:00 AM to learn about the instruments.
