About
New Adventures bring Matthew Bourne's 30th-anniversary production of Cinderella, a wartime love story set in 1940 London, to the Alhambra Theatre.
New Adventures return to Bradford with the 30th Anniversary staging of Matthew Bourne's Cinderella, a ballet reimagining of the fairytale as a wartime romance set during the London Blitz. Cinderella and a young RAF pilot meet by chance and share a magical night before being parted by the horrors of war. The production features Lez Brotherston's Olivier Award-winning designs, lighting by Neil Austin, video by Duncan McLean, Paul Groothuis's sound design and Prokofiev's score. Evening performances run Tuesday to Saturday, with matinees on Thursday 1 April and Saturday 3 April.
