Harrogate School of Theology & Mission hosts a live lecture by Paul Kunert, author of Jesus Died to Save the Planet. The talk sets out a full biblical account of Jesus' death and resurrection — his work of redemption, reconciliation, renewal and restoration of all things — and argues that this makes responding to the climate and nature crises central to the Gospel. It also examines why creation care remains peripheral in most churches and proposes how churches can integrate following Jesus for the flourishing of all creation into everyday life. Breakfast is available from 9.30am and the lecture runs for two hours.
