Ríoghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet
About
Ríoghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet bring their blend of jazz, funk, blues and folk to the Malt Room at Brewery Arts in Kendal.
Ríoghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet perform in the Malt Room (standing) at Brewery Arts, moving between swampy jazz, raucous brass, fractured funk, blues balladry and folkloric textures. Connolly, winner of the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award for Best Folk Singer and BBC Radio 2's Folk Singer of the Year, fronts the band with vocals blending mischief, protest and vulnerability. The lineup features Lorien Garth Edwards on bass, Ellis Davies on guitar, John Ellis on keyboards, Biff Roxby on brass and Phill Howley on drums.
