Safe, Open, and Equitable: Reimagining Global Research Collaboration
About
A free UKCDR/UKRI side-event panel session on aligning research security, open science and equitable partnerships in global research collaboration.
The UK Collaborative on Development Research hosts a 90-minute session bringing together participants from the OECD Global Science Forum, the Global Research Council European Regional Meeting, and representatives of funders, government, academia and industry. Discussion will focus on how research security, open science and equitable partnerships can be aligned to support safe, ethical and inclusive international collaboration, connecting initiatives such as the G7 research security commitment and Science Europe's research security work with funders' choices in development R&D. Arrival is from 10:45am and a light lunch is provided afterwards; the event forms part of a UKRI series in London during the week of 26 October 2026.
