Kids' Workshop: Brain Lab
About
A free drop-in kids' workshop at the Physicians' Gallery where scientists from the UK Dementia Research Institute lead hands-on brain activities.
Scientists from the UK Dementia Research Institute lead a free, drop-in activity day exploring how the brain works, what it is made of, and how it changes in conditions such as dementia. The workshop runs from 11am to 2pm, with visitors booking a free one-hour arrival slot and staying as long as they like. It is best suited to children aged 7-12, though all ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The Gallery also offers a children's medical library, colouring-in, worksheets and a dressing-up station.
