Botanical Soap Making Workshop for Beginners in Milton Keynes

A two-hour hands-on beginners workshop at Westbury Arts Centre learning cold process botanical soap making and taking home your own batch.

Run by Dilek of The Soap Academy, this two-hour morning workshop teaches the fundamentals of cold process soap making: handling lye safely, how oils and butters behave, recognising trace, and using botanicals and essential oils. After a full demonstration, participants make their own batch with support, taking home soap to cure plus guidance notes. All materials, tools and protective equipment are provided, and group sizes are deliberately small. It is aimed at complete beginners aged 18 and over.
