About

Julius Asal’s recital places Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet beside Beethoven’s final sonata and Rachmaninov’s Op. 32 preludes.

The pianist’s programme contrasts Prokofiev’s theatrical ballet scenes with Beethoven’s final piano sonata and Rachmaninov’s searching preludes.
