Mohammad Alfaraj: The heart is a bird’s nest, the brain is a spider web

Mohammad Alfaraj brings installation, drawing, photography, film and sculpture together to explore home, family and relationships between people and other species.

New commissions and recent works use social rituals, folklore and everyday materials to reconsider care, belonging and shared ecologies. Conceived for Delfina Foundation’s domestic setting, the exhibition is Alfaraj’s first institutional solo exhibition in Europe. It runs 29 September–22 November 2026 with published Tuesday–Sunday noon–6pm access.
