Common/Wealth: 29% Festival 2026

Common/Wealth's annual free festival of live performance, music, dance, art and workshops celebrating Bradford's young people and young artists.

29% Festival is Common/Wealth's annual free youth festival, named for the 29% of Bradford's population who were under 20 when the festival began in 2024. The programme features performances from over 50 young rappers, musicians, actors and poets, alongside games rooms, music-making workshops, exhibitions, visual arts and crafting activities, and chill-out spaces, with free mocktails and desserts for attendees. It is programmed by Common/Wealth's youth board and is aimed at young people, with a dedicated adults' space for parents and carers and DBS-certified staff on site.
