Jeremy Sassoon's MOJO
About
Singer-pianist Jeremy Sassoon and his band celebrate a century of iconic Jewish popular songwriters in his acclaimed MOJO show.
MOJO (Musicians Of Jewish Origin) is a foot-stomping celebration of iconic Jewish popular songwriters, taking the audience on a 100-year journey from Gershwin and the Great American Songbook through the Brill Building and rock 'n' roll era to artists such as Carole King, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Randy Newman and Amy Winehouse. The show mixes unforgettable songs with surprising and hilarious anecdotes, and has earned five-star reviews across three seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe. Jeremy Sassoon, a former doctor and hospital psychiatrist turned in-demand singer-pianist, leads his band for this one-night performance.
