Bardi Symphony Orchestra: Elgar Cello Concerto

The Bardi Symphony Orchestra performs Bacewicz's Overture, Elgar's Cello Concerto with Jonathan Aasgaard, and Sibelius's Fifth Symphony, conducted by Agata Zając.

The Bardi Symphony Orchestra's 2026/27 season concert opens with Grażyna Bacewicz's fast-paced Overture, followed by Elgar's Cello Concerto performed by cellist Jonathan Aasgaard. After the interval, Agata Zając conducts Sibelius's Fifth Symphony, a work inspired by swans flying over a lake. A pre-concert talk takes place in the auditorium from 2pm to 2.30pm, and the concert is strictly for ages 5 and over.
