About

Gwilym Bowen Rhys performs Welsh-language songs in a restrained, intimate trio setting that is also powerful and energetic. Sisters Elin and Carys provide support, combining close vocal harmonies with folk songs and original writing. Their arrangements use guitar, piano, banjo, fiddle, accordion, and whistles, and the programme introduces their first EP, Hela’r dryw, released with Sain Records.
