About
An exhibition exploring the concept of 'unmaking' through deliberate deconstruction of textile works.
The exhibition challenges assumptions by presenting a deliberate act of deconstruction, asking if a work poised on the verge of collapse can be considered complete. It explores how materiality, when explored over time through repetitive action, builds tacit knowledge in textile artists. The work will evolve over time, showing pieces at different stages of the making/unmaking journey.
