About
Harmony Hammond’s paintings and monotypes explore the bodily qualities of abstract surfaces through grommets, layered ink, canvas and bindings.
The presentation brings together works that sit between painting, print and sculpture. Metal eyelets interrupt monochrome printed surfaces, while canvas belts and painted twine bind others together. Hammond’s material approach connects abstraction with political and bodily meanings. The full exhibition detail and current St James’s listings publish a 6 October–13 November run; the homepage’s 15 November endpoint conflicts and is retained in the evidence.
