Take the Mic

A faith-centred open mic night for Christian creatives featuring singing, spoken word and rap at a Hornchurch restaurant.

Take the Mic is a faith-centred open mic night offering a platform for Christian creatives across East London and Essex. The evening brings together singing, spoken word and rap in a welcoming, community-focused space, with performers of all experience levels invited to sign up and share their gifts. It takes place at Zero7, an award-winning Nigerian restaurant in Hornchurch, and £10 from every ticket goes towards food purchased on the night. The event runs for two and a half hours.
