Scottish band Pygmy Twylyte perform the music of Frank Zappa at Future Yard in Birkenhead.

Pygmy Twylyte, a Scottish band formed in 2018, present a live celebration of Frank Zappa's music, spanning his 1960s psychedelia with the Mothers of Invention, jazz-tinged rock and orchestral material. The band pairs a core set of classic Zappa songs with rotating selections of more obscure cuts, and has previously played the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and topped the Friday bill at Germany's Zappanale festival. The line-up features guitars, keyboards, saxes and multiple vocalists.
