Shabbat Morning Experience - Rabbi Sacks Global Day of Learning 2026

A Shabbat morning service and learning session marking Rabbi Sacks' sixth yahrzeit, exploring finding purpose in an age of distraction.

Chabad Islington hosts a Shabbat morning experience combining prayer with study as part of the Rabbi Sacks Global Day of Learning, marking his sixth yahrzeit. The session, titled 'Where Does God Need Me? Finding Purpose in an Age of Distraction', explores Rabbi Sacks' teachings alongside classical Jewish sources, asking how individuals identify their unique contribution and distinguish a genuine calling from enjoyment. The user-friendly, explanatory service is open to all and framed as a learning experience rather than purely prayer.
