About
The Cohen-Wingfield Duo performs violin and piano works by Trinity composers Stanford, Alan Gray and Vaughan Williams at Trinity College, Cambridge.
The Cohen-Wingfield Duo gives an hour-long recital in Trinity College's Old Combination Room pairing violin and piano. The programme connects three Trinity composers: successive Directors of Music Charles Villiers Stanford and Alan Gray, and Gray's pupil Ralph Vaughan Williams. Listeners will hear the rarely performed Alan Gray Violin Sonata alongside Stanford's 5 Bagatelles Op. 183 and Vaughan Williams's 6 Studies in English Folksong.
