Royal William Yard's festive market of independent artisan traders returns to the Melville building with stalls, Christmas lights, carols and family entertainment.

Royal William Yard hosts its festive food and craft market inside the Melville building and courtyard, with stalls from the region's independent artisan traders selling festive wares and unique gifts. The market runs on Sundays through November and December plus Wednesday evenings in December, with Christmas lights, a choir and children's crafts adding atmosphere. Plymouth City Brass performs seasonal carols at the Wednesday evening markets from 6.30pm, and on Sunday 6 December a life-sized polar bear puppet from Above Bounds Theatre Company roams the Yard.
