About
An evening Wassail ceremony at Sheppy's Cider Farm with food, fires, cider, a barn dance and folk music to bless the apple trees.
Sheppy's Cider hosts its annual Wassail on Friday 15 January 2027, celebrating the old tradition of blessing apple trees for a good harvest. Gates open at 5:30pm with food served until 8:15pm, and the ceremony begins at 6:45pm with the Taunton Morris Men heading into the orchards. From 8pm there is a barn dance with folk dancing and music from Fresh Aire in the Old Barn, before the event closes at 10pm. The event is for adults only and is not suitable for children or dogs.
