About

An exhibition of collective charcoal drawings made during monthly improvised drawing and live electronic music sessions, with proceeds partly donated to Medical Aid for Palestine.

Hundred Years Gallery presents an exhibition of collective drawings produced during a monthly residency begun in November 2023, in which participants draw with charcoal on large papers while Cos Chapman plays live electronic improvisation, with visual artist Jo Roberts presiding as The Librarian. The works emerged from open sessions joined by regulars and passers-by, evolving into interconnected compositions of figures, birds and abstract forms. The gallery frames the drawings as responses to the suffering of Palestinians, and selected pieces are sold at a uniform price with half the proceeds donated to Medical Aid for Palestine.
