Whole Lotta Shakin' - The Shakin Stevens Story

A touring tribute show celebrating Shakin' Stevens, telling his rags-to-riches story and featuring a full second-half concert of his hits.

This touring tribute show celebrates Shakin' Stevens, the UK's most successful pop artist of the 1980s, with a live band and projection screen. The first half follows the young Welshman's path to stardom through his early songs with The Sunsets, recording studios, foreign tours, Elvis - The Musical and the Oh Boy television series. The second half is a full late-80s-style concert, complete with the famous denim and pink jacket, featuring hits such as Green Door, This Ole House, Oh Julie and You Drive Me Crazy. It stars Rebel Dean (BBC Casualty, West End, London Palladium) and is organised by Barbican Theatre Plymouth.
