Big MPYT – Youth Theatre for ages 14-24

A weekly youth theatre workshop for 14-24 year olds run by Mid Powys Youth Theatre, offering theatre games, devising and performance skills in a supportive setting.

Big MPYT is the core youth theatre group of Mid Powys Youth Theatre, a Tuesday evening session running since 1987 for young people aged 14-24 of all abilities. Sessions involve theatre games, devising challenges, trust and focus exercises, and skills such as physical theatre, mask-work, puppetry, circus, singing and stage combat. The group provides a supportive creative space where members are treated as equals, with young leaders in training assisting sessions.
