Hot Takes Night

An interactive evening where speakers pitch their unpopular opinions to the audience, who vote and respond, at the Amersham Arms.

Speakers pitch their most controversial opinions to the room, with the audience voting on each take and throwing in comments and questions. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a 7:30 PM start, and the evening runs for four hours. It is pitched as part comedy night, part friendly debate and part after-work social, with no pressure on attendees to speak. Aspiring speakers can email the organisers for a chance to present their own take and receive free entry.
