About

A festive screening of The Snowman in Lincoln Cathedral's Nave with a live orchestra and a chorister singing "Walking in the Air".

Lincoln Cathedral screens the wordless festive classic The Snowman in its Nave, with the score performed live by an orchestra and "Walking in the Air" sung by a chorister from Lincoln Cathedral Choir at every show. The nave will be specially lit to create a magical atmosphere, making use of the building's acoustics. Performances run across Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026 at multiple times, and the event is aimed at families with children as well as adults.
