Learn blackwork embroidery, also known as Spanishwork, and make a stitched sample that can be turned into a pincushion.
An embroidery workshop introducing blackwork, or Spanishwork, a style brought to England in the 16th century. Participants make a sample suitable for a pincushion. The ticket includes materials, instruction and tea or coffee. The workshop is for adults aged 18+ with intermediate stitching experience. The Tudor Room is accessible by stairs only.
