Manga with Mia - Create Your Own Spooky Manga Character

A one-hour Halloween manga drawing workshop for children aged 6+, led by manga-style artist Mia at Liskeard Library.

This one-off workshop invites young artists to design their own spooky manga character in the Japanese comics style. Led by manga and comic-style artist Mia, the session covers manga drawing basics such as expressive faces, character proportions and dynamic poses, before participants create original characters with their own look, personality and story inspiration. Materials are provided, all abilities are welcome, and Mia offers one-to-one guidance throughout. The session runs from 2pm to 3pm on 29 October 2026 and is recommended for ages 6 and up.
