Bayeux Tapestry Replica at The London Archives
About
Ticketed public viewings of The London Archives’ 200-year-old full replica of the Bayeux Tapestry, held in its Conservation Studio on two dates in November and December.
Visitors with advance tickets can view the 20.25-metre replica, made by Charles Stothard and engraved by James Basire, which records the tapestry before its nineteenth-century repairs and later damage. Admission is free and booking is essential. The organiser says tickets may exceed available capacity, entry is first-come, first-served, and visitors who cannot enter at their booked slot may be accommodated later. The linked ticketing page reported the event sold out on 14 October 2026.
