Churches Conservation Trust Annual Lecture with Suzannah Lipscomb

Historian Suzannah Lipscomb delivers the Churches Conservation Trust's annual lecture on the Reformation's impact on England's churches.

In this year's lecture, Reformation and Ruin: The Tudor Transformation of England's Churches, Professor Suzannah Lipscomb traces how the Reformation reshaped England's churches from Henry VIII's break with Rome through Edward VI's iconoclasm to the reversals under Mary I and the settlement under Elizabeth I. The evening is chaired by Vikki Jenner and includes a wine reception, with proceeds supporting the Trust's care of historic churches.
