About
The Cauld Blast Orchestra, revived after 20 years, plays its eclectic folk, jazz, rock and world music mix in a 110-minute show at Perth Theatre.
Formed in 1990, the Cauld Blast Orchestra was known for an eclectic hybrid of folk, jazz, rock and world music, appearing at WOMAD, Celtic Connections and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival among others. After 20 years dormant, the band returns with a 10-piece ensemble including two well-known young Scots trad musicians. The programme promises wonky reels, a tango, rollicking jazz solos and poignant airs, running 110 minutes.
