About
The Korean instrumental trio Dongyang Gozupa fuses traditional gugak with progressive rock in a dynamic performance.
Dongyang Gozupa is an instrumental trio built around Yun Eunhwa's yanggeum (Korean hammered dulcimer), supported by Ham Minhwi on bass and Jang Dohyuk on a personalised drum-and-percussion kit. Their music is a genre-defying fusion of gugak (traditional Korean music) and progressive rock, incorporating elements of metal, industrial, pop, psychedelia, and the avant garde. They present signature works alongside new material from their forthcoming release, connecting Korean tradition with global contemporary sounds.
