Celebrate Diwali – Festival of Light

An open-air Romford Diwali celebration with Bollywood and Bhangra performances, live music, Diwali workshops, henna and face painting, Indian food, and local craft and clothing stalls.

The free, no-booking-needed event is planned outside St Edward’s Church in Romford. Its programme combines music and dance with Diwali workshops, henna and face painting, caricatures, Indian food and drinks, and clothing, jewellery and handcrafted gifts. Romford BID presents the celebration with HASWA, Havering Changing and Clarion Futures. The official detail does not name individual performers.
