Family Bird Box Building

Build a nest box for blue tits or robins from a kit made by the park woodwork team, with pre-drilled pieces and ranger guidance.

Children and adults can assemble the box together; children can take the lead with some supervision. The source encourages children to decorate the finished box with wildlife-friendly designs.
