Highgate Wood guided walks

Free guided walks through ancient woodland led by Highgate Wood staff and volunteers.

Highgate Wood staff and volunteers lead free walks about its wildlife, flora, fungi, trees and history. Each walk lasts about one to one and a half hours and meets at the information hut beside the café. The published autumn and winter dates are 26 and 30 September, 24 and 31 October, 28 November, and 6 December 2026; all begin at the times listed in the organiser table. The 30 September fungi walk requires advance booking because space is limited; the other walks are free with no booking required.
