About

Dr Laura Katus presents research on how early adversity and culture shape neurodevelopment.

Drawing on the BRIGHT longitudinal study following infants in the UK and rural Gambia, the talk considers how early environments shape brain and cognitive development, and the challenges of studying neurodevelopment across cultural and socioeconomic settings. A Teams option is offered for people unable to attend in person.
